To Call This Human An Animal Would Be An Insult to Animals

The morning director showed up to work a few minutes later than her usual time today. Bundled up in a blanket she carried a little terrier. The dog was a passenger of a vehicle that was in front of the director when she was driving to work. To her surprise the dog was tossed out of the moving vehicle onto the road.

Do not fret, dear reader, the dog is OK. She has a few cuts, which our evening director/morning master control op quickly bandaged, and she is a little shaken but in seemingly good health under the circumstances. The morning director will be taking the dog to a vet right after the show to make sure all is well.

What, as news people do we do once we feel the dog is good to go....We put her on T.V. of course and tell her story. Just so happens we are running a story on a local No-Kill animal shelter for unwanted pets. So we make the connection and put her in. Too bad we don't know who mercilessly threw the dog to what was surely meant to be her demise, we'd put them on too.
